Youth Outlook has four drop-in centers, one each in Geneva, Naperville, DeKalb, and Aurora. Groups meet every week, and are a safe social setting for youth to meet other LGBTQ teens and talk about a variety of topics. For example, we might have a guest speaker talk about how to start a Gay Straight Alliance at school. Or we might play games that get us talking about healthy relationships. Or we might watch a movie and discuss how gay people have been represented in film. Whatever the topic, Youth Outlook’s drop-in centers provide a place for LGBTQ to feel respected, listened to, and safe.
