In 2006, a small group of transgender youth asked for a meeting of their own, so Youth Outlook created Transcend. Group members discuss topics such as gender identity, hormone injections, legal issues, and daily tasks that seem easy to others but create a barrier for transgender individuals - such as, how to write your resume. |
