For youth who have attended drop-in centers for awhile and want to get more involved, Youth Outlook offers advanced opportunities with the Youth Leadership Program.

Youth leaders help run drop-in centers meetings, assist with volunteer trainings, and develop their own projects. They also play a big part in Youth Outlook's community education programs. Youth leaders have spoken to school faculty, Gay Straight Alliances, health care workers, and social service agencies, offering their views on how these organizations can best meet the needs of LGBTQ teens. They can also become involved with the Youth Advisory Board, which advises Youth Outlook's board of directors on agency-wide issues from a youth perspective.
