Since 2001, the West Suburban Community Network has brought together professionals, service providers, and community members committed to supporting LGBTQ+ youth. By fostering relationships across organizations and disciplines, the Network supports shared learning, warm referral pathways, and a stronger continuum of care for youth and families throughout the western suburbs.
Monthly Virtual NetworkingMembers meet on the third Thursday of the month from 1:00–2:00 PM CST on Zoom. These gatherings provide opportunities to connect with other professionals, share updates, learn about community resources, and strengthen cross-agency collaboration.
Members have access to ongoing resource sharing, including announcements related to training opportunities, community events, research initiatives, and organizational updates. This shared communication helps professionals stay informed and better support LGBTQ+ youth and families.
The West Suburban Community Network supports continued learning through access to local, state, and national resources, as well as opportunities to exchange best practices with peers. These efforts help strengthen inclusive, affirming environments across schools, agencies, healthcare settings, and community organizations.
