Queer and Trans Advocacy in Schools: A Workshop

Led by our Youth Leaders and designed specifically for teen audiences, attendees will hear directly from peers about the challenges and triumphs of navigating school life as queer and trans individuals. The session encourages active participation and allows teens to ask questions, exchange ideas, and gain practical tips on how to be effective allies and advocates within their own schools. (1Hour)

Learning Objectives:

  1. Gain insight into the experiences of queer and trans youth in school settings, as shared by youth advocates.
  2. Learn effective strategies for queer and trans advocacy in schools.
  3. Participate in an interactive discussion, enhancing understanding and fostering a supportive community among teen attendees.
